The St Augustine residence and dining hall are located less than 5 minutes’ walk from the school. You will take your meals in one of the two restaurant rooms, except in the case of excursions where you will receive a packed lunch. Students will stay in single or shared rooms (2, 3 or 4 beds) and use the communal bathrooms. There is a welcoming common room for socialising, with TV, video games and multimedia equipment, as well as a sports ground outside. Varied, healthy meals are served in the cafeteria adjacent to the residence. A cleaning service is available once a week.
The school offers an exciting leisure programme! The children will have the opportunity to display their artistic talents during arts and crafts activities (t-shirt dyeing, face painting) or practise sports like tennis, football and basketball. The course will also allow them to discover beautiful Canterbury: they will visit the museum dedicated to the comic book character Rupert Bear, go on a river tour and discover the famous Canterbury Cathedral. The students will also enjoy themselves during themed evenings: karaoke, bowling, games, disco, talent nights... During the week, two full days and two half-day excursions are organised: explore Howletts Wild Animal Park, Cambridge, Brighton or London!
