Staying with a host family in Chicago is without any doubt the best way to practise English and immerse yourself in American culture. Each family is selected with care by our partner school, and they'll welcome you in a double or single room with the option of no board, half board or breakfast only provided. The families live in districts where you will find several bars, restaurants and bookshops. Your host will usually be 60 minutes average from the school by bus (maximum travel time 70 minutes).

Located a 35-minute walk from the school, students will have the choice of either a studio apartment or sharing a 3-bedroom apartments offering single and twin rooms – each option includes free bed linen and towels. In the studio apartments, you’ll have an ensuite bathroom and kitchen, whereas in the shared option you’ll share the kitchen, bathroom(s) and living room with other students. You’ll have access to amazing on-site facilities, such as the gym, the indoor basketball court, the yoga studio and the computer lab. Wi-Fi and cleaning service are included, while the laundry facilities are coin-operated. These apartments are surrounded by shops and restaurants, and the main city attractions are just a stone’s throw away!
