With a privileged setting in a green valley surrounded by lakes and soaring mountains, our partner school is located on the grounds of the breathtaking Engelberg Abbey. Both the residence and school are housed within the same building behind the Abbey. The school’s bright, modern classrooms boast large windows overlooking the beautiful landscape as well as smart boards. The school also has sports facilities including two sports halls, a tennis court, an indoor swimming pool, two outdoor football fields, volleyball courts, a basketball court and a fitness and weight room, plus recreational rooms where students can hang out together. Students can connect to the internet via the free Wi-Fi available throughout.

Leisure
The junior camp in Engelberg has the perfect schedule of events so you can unwind and have fun after class! The afternoon programme alternates numerous sporting activities on the campus (climbing wall, football, volleyball, basketball, swimming, etc.) with cultural outings, shopping and excursions. You’ll be able to practise your language skills on trips to Interlaken, Zurich or nearby Lucerne – all while surrounded by students of different nationalities and your group leaders. After dinner, the school’s staff has some surprises in store for you whether it be a disco night, fancy dress party or a BBQ – it’s time to party!
COURSE PLUS ADRENALINE
With its huge alpine peaks, Engelberg provides ample opportunity for adrenaline seekers to chase their next thrill! Choose this course to study your target language while taking part in an assortment of alpine sports, including mountain climbing, mountain biking and more!
Programme This programme consists of daily language lessons coupled with adrenalin-fueled activities on the surrounding mountain ranges. Activities include mountain biking, hiking the Via Ferrata and various activities in the nearby adventure park.

COURSE PLUS TENNIS
Tennis is a fun, engaging, and challenging sport to get the blood pumping – which makes it the perfect activity to do after a long day of learning! In this programme, you’ll be able to combine your language lessons with lessons delivered by professional instructors!
Programme Students will have daily language lessons alongside three tennis lessons per week.
Level required Lessons will be adapted to your level
Materials Students should bring sports clothes and shoes. You may bring your own racket, but one will be provided for you.
Location A nearby indoor tennis centre

COURSE PLUS AMUSEMENT PARK
Description Experience the thrills, splashes, and plunges of Switzerland’s largest waterpark: Alpamare, nestled in the gorgeous heart of the Swiss Alps. Whether it’s the exciting rides, endless pools, relaxing thermal bath or lazy river — you’ll be sure to have a jam-packed day full of fun in this programme. Alpamare is the ultimate destination to add to your travel itinerary, and this course will cover everything you need to get you there. Just sit back, have fun and let our partner school do the rest!
Programme This programme includes daily language lessons and one trip to Alpamare on Sunday. All travel and entry tickets are provided by the school.
