A stone’s throw away from the station, the town centre and the seaside, our partner language school occupies three large Victorian buildings, consisting of 13 classrooms, a large relaxation space, a student lounge with a flat screen TV, a computer room, a self-access centre and a library. In these bright and comfortable premises, you will benefit from optimum conditions for making progress in English: small groups, quality teaching material, but also experienced and dedicated teachers, who stimulate students with active and challenging lessons. Outside of class hours, a teacher is also available to advise the students who would like to improve their English skills on their own. And if you want to take a break, you can organise table tennis matches with the other students, surf the Internet thanks to the free Internet access, or else relax in one of the three gardens of the course centre.

In the South Downs natural park, you will discover some of the historical treasures of the region: the Chichester Cathedral, Lewes Castle, the medieval Arundel castle, current residence of the Duke of Norfolk, which dominates the landscape with its Shakespearian dignity. Sports or cultural activities will also be organised in the evening. Barbecue parties, international food parties, comedy evenings or else live jazz concerts in the trendiest lounges of Worthing’s town centre… Live your language course in England to the fullest!

Die Schule bietet einen gehobenen Standard eingebettet in den Charme eines 100-jährigen Hauses. Es ist sehr leicht in einem gemeinsamen Pausenraum mit anderen Teilnehmern ins Gespräch zu kommen.Das ganze Schulpersonal ist sehr engagiert und freut sich über Verbesserungsvorschläge. Das Stadzzentrum ist 10 Minuten entfernt und bietet bei 60 Minuten Mittagspause 13-14 Uhr genug Zeit zum ausgehen. Besonders zu empfehlen ist das vielfältige Unterhaltungsprogramm unter der Woche mit speziell ausgebildeten Betreuerinnen. Nach dem Unterrichtsende um 16:30 Uhr wurde wir von den Activity Personal oft nett versucht zu überreden doch noch etwas mit der eingesammelten Gruppe zu unternehmen, was manchmal etwas zuviel war, da noch anspruchsvolle Hausaufgaben zu lösen waren. An den Wochenenden können kostenpflichtige Fernausflüge gebucht werden. In meiner Gruppe waren 5 spanisch sprechende und 3 arabisch sprechende Klassenkameraden. Es wird auf die strenge Unterhaltung nur auf Englisch geachtet. Ein Minuspunkt würde ich als die lockere Auslegung des Unterrichtsbeginnes von außereuropäischen Schülern bezeichnen. Es nervte, wenn in den ersten 30 Minuten des Unterricht die Teilnehmer noch eintrudelten und die Lehrerin teilweise den Stoff wiederholen mußte. Auch mahnende Worte vom Schulleiter brachten kaum Besserung..Siehe Schulbeschreibung. Top.
