With the British Museum, universities and theatres, Bloomsbury is one of London’s most exciting areas, and the site of the language school! The combination of its historic, central location and a surprisingly calm atmosphere makes this school an alluring destination for an English course in London. Located in a renovated historic building, the school will pleasantly surprise you with its charming rooftop terrace, used regularly in the summertime. It has 51 spacious classrooms, a language lab, modern teaching equipment including interactive whiteboards, a library and a large cafeteria where snacks and hot meals are available. There is also free Wi-Fi and over 50 computers available for students. You'll find all this in the very heart of London, just a 15-minute walk from Oxford Street and the West End!

Scuola organizzata benissimo, lezioni ben fatte e divertenti. Ma la cosa più bella è conoscere tantissima nuova gente da tutte le parti del mondo. Scuola veramente ben organizzata, i professori sono molto bravi ad insegnare e a coinvolgere gli studenti.Consigliata!

Testimonials

It was high time I refreshed my English skills. This is the reason why I decided to take a 2-week mini group business course at the St Giles school in London. The “Platinum” courses met all my expectations and even exceeded them. Groups with a very small number of students (often, we were two students with the teacher), good organisation in the school, as well as highly qualified teachers. The learning conditions were ideal, which allowed me to make great progress. I chose host family accommodation and I think it is the best option. They were very friendly and attentive, my room was comfortable and the location was ideal.

London is an amazing city, there’s so much to do. Anywhere you go, you can have a good time with some new friends. Living there for 6 months was a great experience. And on top of this, I also managed to go to some football matches and see Arsenal, Fulham and Chelsea playing. It was extraordinary!

Host family
For those who want to experience English culture firsthand, the choice is easy! The host family option is ideal for practising English with total confidence in a warm environment, with a carefully selected family. Living around 45-60 minutes from the school, you'll stay in a single room with half-board. You can also choose the superior option to ensure your own private bathroom. If you're travelling with another student, you can book a twin room at a lower price. Contact us for further information.

St Giles residence (from 18 years)
Unique to London, our partner school offers students onsite accommodation on the upper floors of the school, in single or twin rooms with breakfast or half-board. Each bedroom is equipped with a sink, a kettle and a TV. Bed linen is provided and changed once per week. You'll share the bathrooms and have your meals in the canteen. This residence is very safe, as there is a security guard, a door entry system and CCTV monitoring in the hallways. It's also extremely practical, allowing you to avoid London public transport and the costs that go with it, and is also an opportunity to live in close contact with other students and to sleep in a little longer in the mornings!

The school provides a monthly program that informs students of the cultural (theatre, concerts, dance, opera, etc.) and other events going on in London. Students can purchase discounted tickets for musicals, a book club, a film club, football and regular visits to local places of interest. There is also a film shown each week on a large screen at the school. On Fridays, teachers and students meet in a traditional pub. Discos are organised on a boat that cruises the River Thames. Outside of London, there are excursions to discover Oxford, Cambridge, Stratford-upon Avon and other places of interest in the UK and also in Europe.
