Being immersed in the culture of a country is without a doubt one of the best ways to learn the language. Living with a host family is a great opportunity to discover the New Zealand way of life from the inside, including the customs and cuisine, and to have a very enriching experience. It's also an opportunity to practise English on a daily basis. Chosen with care, the families know the school well. Located approximately 30 minutes from the school, you'll have your own room, half-board during the week and full board at the weekends.

Whether mountain biking on the Wellington hills discovering the local flora of the city’s parks and surrounding forests or sea kayaking in one of the many bays around the city’s coast, the choice is yours! From skiing to walks through national parks, wine tours to aquatic sports; its impossible to list all that the Wellington region has to offer. After days full of adventure, you can spend your evenings enjoying barbeques, nights at one of the many cinemas or theatres and tasting the best New Zealand wines with your friends.
