Host families are carefully selected by our partner schools and represent the most popular accommodation option. They usually live not far from the language school; in big cities, you will probably use public transport to arrive, while in smaller towns you will most likely live within walking distance. Before your departure, we will ask you what your requirements are (animals, children, special diet, etc.), so that the school can find the best accommodation for you. You won’t necessarily live with traditional families, but possibly with couples, pensioners or other family configurations. Usually, the family offers half-board accommodation. If you stay with a host family, you will have the opportunity to speak the language in all settings and all kinds of daily life situations. Living with the locals will allow you to improve your language skills and discover all aspects of the local life.
