Learn English in Liverpool and really live like a local through staying with a host family! Get up close and personal with England’s famously friendly northerners and practise your English every day over the dinner table, or while you catch up after a day out exploring the city. Your host will usually be between 25 and 45 minutes on average from the school by bus (maximum travel time 60 minutes during high season), all over the city and in suburban areas. Free Wi-Fi, bed linen, towels, and a once-a-week laundry service are included, along with breakfast and dinner, which you will usually enjoy together.

This residence provides single rooms with a vibrant social atmosphere in central Liverpool – all just a 25-minute walk from the school. Each room is an ensuite, with a bed, wardrobe, shelves, desk, chair, Wi-Fi, and a mirror – linen is included, but students should bring their own towel. Students will share a living space and a kitchen with 5-6 other students – they will need to cater for themselves. There is a laundry room which students can use for a fee. The residence fosters a strong sense of social community – with a sunny courtyard for students to enjoy, a summer house with a PlayStation, and plenty of activities organised by the residence staff.

Students can choose the size and number of windows in their room from three options of ascending price. Grab your free breakfast from the common area in the morning! Common areas are cleaned weekly; room cleaning service is available at an extra cost; laundry service is card operated.

Glassworks Student Residence is ideal for students who want to live in a generously furnished studio apartment or shared apartment in the vibrant heart of Liverpool. Depending on their choice of room, students can expect their own studio apartment or a single en suite room in a shared 6-bedroom apartment. Each bedroom contains a three-quarter bed, wardrobe, WIFI, chair, study area, and tv. Each apartment contains a fully stocked kitchen so students can cater for themselves – either shared among roommates or completely private for the studio apartments. The accommodation will provide linen, but students will need to bring their own towels ¬– laundry services are available for a fee. Students have access to several building facilities including a game area, study room and free 24-hour gym.
