Being immersed in a country’s culture is without a doubt one of the best ways to learn the language. Living with a host family means getting to know the way of life of Lyon locals from the inside – their food and customs – while having an enriching experience. It's also your chance to practise French daily in an authentic context. Your host will be carefully selected by our partner school. Living around 20-35 minutes from the school via public transport (please note that this may be longer during busy seasons), you will stay in a single or double room with breakfast only or half-board provided.

Stay in an apartment, just 12 minutes by bus from Lyon Part Dieu train station and 20 minutes by public transport to reach classes. This large and inviting apartment is located in a charming residential neighbourhood. 4 modern and comfortable single or double rooms open out onto a large living room with an open-plan kitchen and shared or private bathroom. The rooms each have a wardrobe as well as Wi-Fi and a television. Common areas are cleaned on Wednesday, and rooms on weekends. Students will also have the option of a private en suite room with a double bed and washing machine.

With plenty of amenities, top-notch facilities, and an idyllic location just 25 minutes from the school by public transport – this residence is designed with the student in mind. Students will be placed in modern, spacious single studio apartments furnished with a private bathroom, desk, wardrobe, chair, lamp, and a kitchenette. Students will be provided with linen which they can clean for a fee using the onsite facilities. Throughout their stay, students won't have a dull moment, as they can socialise in the shared spaces, workout in the free onsite gym, and take part in the regular events and contests organised by the school.

Sometimes the best way to unwind after a long day of classes is to go back to your very own studio apartment, just 22 minutes from your school through public transport. Your room will have Wi-Fi, and will be equipped with a desk, table, chair, wardrobe, kitchen, and an ensuite bathroom. Linen is provided, but you must bring your own towel—both can be cleaned for a small fee in the onsite facilities. You will be responsible for preparing your own meals and keeping your own space clean. When you feel like socialising, there is a big lounge room where you can meet your fellow students, and a terrace to enjoy on sunny days.

In a vibrant and student-friendly city like Lyon, it helps to go back to an environment that feels the same—this residence will provide you with that environment, just 23 minutes from your school by public transport. You will have the choice of a single studio room or a premium studio room. The single studio is equipped with a desk, chair, lamp, wardrobe, a small kitchen, and a private ensuite bathroom. The premium studio room is larger and on the quiet top floor of the building with a balcony with a view of nature. The premium option also includes all of the furniture of the standard option, alongside a TV, boiler, toaster, coffee machine, vacuum cleaner, and an iron table. You will be provided with bed linen, but you should bring your own towel—both can be cleaned for a small fee in the onsite facilities. You will be responsible for cooking your own meals and keeping your personal space clean. This residence is designed with the average student in mind, and its facilities reflect this, with a fitness room and a student lounge available for residents to use.

Located right in the centre of Lyon’s cultural district and a short walk from Place Bellecour, you’ll have a front-row ticket to everything that Lyon has to offer, just a 12-minute walk from the school. You will be placed in a studio room equipped with a desk, table, chair, an ensuite bathroom, and a kitchen. Bed linen is provided, but students should bring their own towels—both can be cleaned in the onsite facilities for an extra cost. Students will be expected to keep their own space tidy and prepare their own meals. Overall, this residence is the perfect space to relax in comfort and privacy after a long day of exploring Lyon. 

The main advantage of staying in one of the hotel-residences offered by the course centre is that it is completely independent. A single bedroom with a private bathroom will be available for you, with a TV and free Wi-Fi. You will also have access to the paying laundry facilities. Bed linen and towels are provided. The language school is 20-25 minutes by public transport from the accommodation. Enjoy life “à la lyonnaise” in a city where you can find so many shops, restaurants and cultural attractions!
