The school has plenty of exciting activities for students to have fun and immerse themselves in their new language – all included in the cost. Some activities focus on introducing students to their classmates, like karaoke, costume parties, and night games. Other activities focus on sports like Zumba, soccer, basketball, beach volleyball, and even a zombie survival game! The school also offers activities for students to try new skills, with a Spanish twist, including cooking, chemistry, theatre, and design classes. All activities are supervised, but students can have a predetermined amount of free time with parental approval. Every two weeks, there is one full-day and two half-day excursions to other cities, and other points of interest.

COURSE PLUS FOOTBALL Playing football after class is the perfect break from a long day of learning, as it also promotes healthy living, communication, and teamwork. Playing football in Valencia gives you the perfect way to enjoy the warm Spanish sun while learning about the unique culture that has formed around football in Spain.

Programme This programme consists of daily Spanish lessons alongside 16 x 45-minute football sessions every two weeks. Students will learn the basics of ball conduction, passing, ball control and real-game situations. If the group consists of fewer than 8 participants, only technical improvement activities will be carried out.

Level required This course is aimed at beginner football players, advanced levels must be checked – please contact our team for more information.

Materials Students should bring football boots, a cap and sunscreen.

Location A nearby football club area is just a 14-minute walk from the school.

COURSE PLUS SAILING Valencia boasts a gorgeous coastline with clear blue waters and pristine beaches that are perfect for sailing. This programme is the perfect opportunity for you to feel the wind on your face while learning how to manoeuvre an impressive sailboat on the Mediterranean.

Programme This programme consists of daily Spanish lessons alongside 12 x 45-minute sailing sessions across two weeks. Students will be introduced to the world of sailing, how to work in a team, safety, and manoeuvring.

Materials Students should bring water shoes, a t-shirt and shorts, a cap, a towel, and spare clothes.

Location At a nearby sailing school, 15 minutes from the school by private bus

COURSE PLUS WATERSPORTS Valencia is a popular destination for water sports enthusiasts, thanks to its beautiful Mediterranean coastline and the Turia River that runs through the city. As such, several water sports facilities have popped up to cater to enthusiasts, which you can take advantage of after your classes. Enjoy the Spanish sunshine while learning a fun new sport on the waves of the Mediterranean sea.

Programme This programme consists of daily Spanish lessons alongside 8 x 45-minute watersports sessions every two weeks. Students will learn paddling techniques, short turns, board control, safety, and more.

Materials Students should bring a swimsuit, towel, spare clothes and sun cream.

Location A nearby watersport area is just a 14-minute walk from the school.
