We are excited to offer students an unforgettable experience on a Mediterranean island, filled with exciting water activities and cultural excursions. From beach games, night swimming, and visits to the beautiful island of Comino, to exploring Malta’s famous attractions, there's always something planned. These activities are scheduled in the mornings and evenings, ensuring students have a diverse and engaging programme. The team leaders will guide students through the island with visits to the capital city Valletta, and the historic Mdina (the Silent City). Additionally, students can enjoy water games, social parties in the evening (summer only), and a trip to Sliema for souvenir shopping. Treasure hunts and scavenger hunts, designed to encourage collaboration and social interaction, will further enhance their English learning by taking it outside the classroom, helping them build language and social skills in a fun, engaging environment. These activities ensure that students leave with improved language skills alongside lasting memories and friendships.

COURSE PLUS DIVING

The waters of Malta are a treasure trove of beauty. Incredible marine life, vast coral reefs, and fascinating shipwrecks that tell Malta’s history – all can be found under Malta’s crystal-clear waters. The best way to explore everything that Malta’s sea has to offer, without limitations, is to scuba-dive! This programme will allow you to combine daily language lessons with an international PADI course to allow you to explore all of Malta, both on land and below the waves!

Programme This programme includes daily language lessons alongside four diving lessons in two weeks, culminating in an internationally recognised PADI Open Water Diver certificate. The lessons will include exercises in shallow and deep water, a theoretical exam, and diving up to 12 metres (for students under 15) or 18 metres (for students 15+)

Level required Students will need to be able to swim and will be required to fill in a health questionnaire This course is designed for complete beginners in the world of diving. Students who already hold a PADI licence should let our team know as soon as possible, so an alternative option can be provided depending on availability.

Materials Swimming clothes and towels are required

Location The diving site is located directly behind the school – transport will be organised (drop off and pick up from Juniors Residence.)

Number of students per group 1-4

Timing Diving lessons will be held roughly approximately between 8:15 - 12:30 (Including travel time and preparation)

COURSE PLUS WATERSPORTS

When you’re studying English in Malta, it’s common to look out at the stunning turquoise ocean and wish you were out there experiencing it. In this course, your wish will come true! Choose this programme to spend your time outside of the classroom catching the waves and making the most of Malta's gorgeous sea and warm sunshine.

Programme This programme includes daily language lessons alongside two sessions of watersports per week. Watersports include surfing, snorkelling, and stand-up paddling.

Level required Any, but students should be strong swimmers.

Materials Students should bring their swimsuit, sunscreen, a towel, and water.

Location Riviera bay – transport is included in the programme (drop off and pick up from Juniors Residence).

Number of students per group The average group size is between 2-10

Timing The schedule will be confirmed upon arrival at the programme (2 sessions of 1.5 hours every week)
