The leisure programme is a great way to practise French with your new international friends and share common passions! Every week, the school organises a wide variety of activities, ranging from city tours (Cannes, Monte Carlo, Nice) to amusements parks (Marineland, Aquasplash) and sports activities two afternoons per week (sailing, football, beach volleyball, running, aqua-aerobics, table tennis, basketball, etc.). In the evenings, the young learners will socialise around a thematic meal, a disco party, a game or a show. The school also organises activities on bank holidays. Some of these activities are included in the programme, while others have an extra cost. All of them are supervised by instructors.

Students aged 8-11 have a separate activity programme that doesn’t include any free/unsupervised time.

Course Plus Watersports Available 21.06 - 22.08.26 Description Whether it’s the 300 days of sunshine, the 25 kilometres of sandy beaches, or just the amazing Mediterranean atmosphere of the area—Antibes is a special place for watersports enthusiasts and this programme encourages you to make the most of it. Unwind from your daily French lessons with a variety of aquatic activities in the clear turquoise waters of the Cote d'Azur, and return home with unbeatable French skills and plenty of fun memories!

Programme This programme consists of 20 French lessons of 45 minutes in the morning alongside four afternoons of watersport activities throughout the week. You will be taken to a local beach and will be able to take part in a variety of water sports, including sailing, kayaking, surfing, and paddleboarding. On the fifth afternoon of your programme, you will join the standard excursion programme with the rest of your classmates.

Level required Any level of proficiency is accepted, however, the course is designed for students who have little to no experience with the aforementioned watersports.

Materials Students should bring swimwear, towels, and sun cream.

Location The watersports will be planned by a local partner and will take place at a beach just 20 minutes from the school.

Number of students per group There will be roughly 15 students per group.

Course Plus Sailing Available 28.06 - 22.08.26 Description The wind in your hair, the Mediterranean sun on your face, and miles of stunning coastline to explore—Antibes is a dream for sailing enthusiasts, and this programme is your chance to take advantage of it! After the programme, you’ll come home with more than just memories and language skills, you’ll also get a certificate from the French Sailing Federation to prove your new skills on the water!

Programme This programme consists of 20 daily French lessons, each consisting of 45 minutes in the morning, and five sailing lessons, each consisting of 120 minutes. You will learn the basics of sailing from state-certified instructors of the FFV (French Sailing Federation) according to its safety requirements. Upon successful completion of the course, you will receive a certificate of proficiency from the FFV.

Level required Any level is accepted, however, the course is designed with beginners to sailing in mind.

Materials Students should bring swimwear, towels, and sun cream.

Location Sailing takes place at a local beach, around 15-20 minutes from the school.

Number of students per group There is a maximum of 15 students per group.
