Staying with a host family is an excellent way of practising the language daily in a warm and motivating atmosphere. The selected families provide you with a single room and half-board during the week and full board at weekends. They generally live in residential areas of the city, close to public transport, around 30-40 minutes from the school. In addition, students who choose to stay with a host family benefit from a free airport transfer on arrival (between 9 a.m. and 10.30 p.m.).

This beautiful summer residence is just a 30-minute walk from Cork city centre and a 10-minute bus ride from the school. Students will be placed in a single room in an apartment of three to five rooms and a shared kitchen/lounge area for you to relax, socialise, and cater for yourself. Each room has a desk, chair, wardrobe, Wi-Fi, and an ensuite bathroom. Bed linen and towels are provided by the residence, and are changed weekly, along with a weekly clean of the common space.  This residence is a great place to make new friends in Ireland, and between classes, you can spend time with these new friends in the onsite TV and games room.
