Wimbledon is a wealthy area with a large number of professional families who work in Central London and live here to enjoy a better way of life. Staying with a host family is the ideal opportunity to continue to practise the language with the locals and enjoy British culture. Each family is located within 35 minutes by public transport, but on average, it will be just 20 minutes. You don’t need to worry about cooking or doing laundry either, as your host family will do this for you!

Ideally located in the heart of Wimbledon, only a 10 minute walk from the school this charming house offers 9 twin or single bedrooms, each with private bathroom. The rooms are bright and well-decorated and include a desk, a wardrobe, a secure deposit box and a hair dryer. A kettle and a mini refrigerator are also available to make drinks or snacks in your room. You can relax with the other residents in the large common area, which includes a modern, well-equipped kitchen and a dining/sitting area with TV and DVD player. Students will need to cater for themselves using the on-site kitchen or surrounding restaurants.  You can also spend nice moments with your friends in the sunny garden or if you prefer you can step outside your front door into the town centre and enjoy its shops, restaurants, pubs and cinemas. The common areas are cleaned daily while the bedrooms are cleaned weekly. You will also have the use of a laundry room with washing machine, dryer and iron.

Located in a residential road, this beautiful house will give you calm and tranquillity a 10 minute walk from the school and Wimbledon town centre and a 5 minute walk from the bustling streets of West Wimbledon. You will stay in one of the 6 bright and very comfortable single rooms of the residence, which all include a private bathroom, a television, a secure safe, a desk and a storage cupboard. A large, well-equipped common area with modern furnishings and a kitchen/dining/sitting area, allows you to meet up with the other students to prepare meals, chat or watch a DVD together. There is also a laundry room with a washing machine, dryer and iron. In the summer months, you can enjoy the charming little garden. A daily cleaning service is provided for the communal areas, and bedrooms are cleaned weekly.

Tucked into the bright Wimbledon district of London, is the quaint student house of Cottenham. The house is just a 30-minute walk from school and is perfect for students who want a degree of independence during their stay while not sacrificing the social atmosphere of sharing a house. The residence features 6 single rooms with a choice of size and either a shared bathroom or a private bathroom not connected to a room. Each room has a bed, secure safe, desk, chair, and storage space. The house features free WIFI and has several shared facilities for both practical and social use, including a fully stocked kitchen, sunny garden and laundry facilities. Bed linen will be provided, but students will need to bring their own towels. All areas of the house will be cleaned by staff every week but students will need to cater for themselves.
