Kaplan International Young Adults (16-20)

Learn English in Liverpool and really live like a local through staying with a host family! Get up close and personal with England’s famously friendly northerners and practise your English every day over the dinner table, or while you catch up after a day out exploring the city. Your host will usually be between 20 and 45 minutes on average from the school by bus (maximum travel time 60 minutes), all over the city and in suburban areas. Free Wi-Fi, bed linen, towels, and a once-a-week laundry service are included, along with breakfast and dinner, which you will usually enjoy together.

Spend your time in Liverpool in a fun, vibrant student residence in the city's lively centre, just a 25 minute bus ride from school. Students will be placed in single rooms with a desk, chair, wardrobe, WIFI, drawers, a mirror, and an ensuite bathroom. Each room has access to a shared kitchen which students will need to use to cater for themselves – kitchens are shared between 6 students. The residence provides linen on the first day, but students will need to bring their own towels – these can be washed for a small fee using the onsite facilities. Between classes, students can relax in the chill out area with a TV, or play ping pong or study in the designated study spaces.
