This school is located on a quiet street in Cambridge, 20 minutes from the centre, where historic and modern structures coexist in a vibrant international atmosphere. The mid-sized school is in a Victorian-era building and features a cafeteria, study room, quiet room, a large garden, and eight classrooms. Each classroom is equipped with an interactive whiteboard and can cater to up to 12 students. Students are able to keep their belongings in safe lock boxes during activities.

Host family

Staying with a host family is the best way for you to improve your target language, as you’ll be practising it every day in an immersive and friendly setting. There will be a maximum of four students per home, in single or twin rooms, and each host is between 40-50 minutes by bus (please note that this may increase during high seasons). Each house has free Wi-Fi access and you will have the option of half board or full board, which can be collected from the school cafeteria. Linen and towels are provided, and most families offer free use of the washing machine. Double rooms are only available for students travelling together.

Cambridge is a fun and diverse city, filled with students and offering plenty of activities to cater to visiting students. Your school will offer plenty of fun activities in order for you to soak up the culture of the area and make new friends during your time in the city. The school has a dedicated Social Programme Co-ordinator who will organise a constantly changing social programme timetable each week. Social programmes can include cooking nights, cake decorating, traditional British afternoon tea, bowling, and more! There are also full-day excursions to amazing cities like Brighton available on the weekend.
