The dream chance to live like a real Canadian! Families are selected with care and are divided into two categories: “standard” options are around 50 minutes (maximum travel time 75 minutes during high season) from the school and offer single rooms with shared bathrooms and half-board, “superior” options additionally offer a private bathroom. You can also choose breakfast only, on request. Living with a host family is a great way to discover the Canadian lifestyle and to practise English in a friendly atmosphere. If you travel with a friend, a twin room is more convenient.

Located in the lively South Granville neighbourhood, about 30 minutes by bus from the school, this residence will suit the more independent students on a budget. The rooms, which are quite small, all include a sofa/bed, a desk, TV, fridge, microwave and an ensuite bathroom. There is Wi-Fi in the living room. Card-operated laundry facilities, a small gym, an open-air swimming pool as well as two Jacuzzis are some of the facilities. Try playing mini-golf or the giant chess game with the other residents from all over the world!

Make new friends and explore Vancouver from this shared apartment, just a 16-minute walk from the school. Your apartment will be shared with 2-4 other students and is equipped with a shared kitchen with a shared bathroom and a kitchen equipped with a washer and dryer. You’ll have the choice between a single or twin room, each equipped with WiFi, a bed, a desk, a chair, and a closet (single rooms have the option of an ensuite bathroom for an additional cost). Linen is included, but students should bring their own towels—both can be cleaned for free in the aforementioned facilities. Students will be expected to keep their own space clean and cater for themselves in the shared facilities. There is a rooftop terrace in which students can enjoy a barbeque on sunny days and watch the beautiful city skyline at night.
