In the centre of Madrid in the heart of the Argüelles district, this language school is located only 5 minutes' walk from Plaza de España and Gran Via, often called Spain's Broadway due to the numerous theatres and shows you will find there. Recently renovated, the school has 28 bright, spacious classrooms spread over three floors. Numerous common areas are perfect for relaxing during breaks or having a quick snack (multiple vending machines are available for use). A room with several computers offers you internet access and there is free Wi-Fi throughout the building.

Do you think you've made progress?

Don Quijote, Madrid
Duration: 4 weeks

Madrid is an amazing town. The peaceful “Parc del Retiro” is a great place to have a walk, go jogging or lie down on the grass and enjoy the sunshine while chatting with your friends from school.

Host family
Host families are located about 30 minutes from the school and will provide you with a single room with half-board. This experience will not only allow you to practise your Spanish on a daily basis, but also to get to know the authentic Madrileño lifestyle: their customs, food and everyday language. Staying with a host family is the best way to improve your Spanish outside of class.

Shared apartments
Shared apartments are a very popular option in Spain and give you the opportunity to live with other international students. You will stay in a single room and share the living room, fully equipped kitchen and bathroom with your flatmates. The apartments each have a TV and washing machine. This is a sociable way to live and meet people from all over the world.

Student Residence
If you’re looking for the freedom to explore the beautiful Spanish capital, this residence is a great choice for those who want independence. Located just a five-minute walk away from the school, you're just a stone’s throw away from local tube stations and bus lines, and only a short walk away from one of the trendiest areas in the entertainment district. The residence provides the option of either single or double fully equipped rooms (table, chair, air conditioning, flat screen TV, and Wi-Fi access), with bed linen and towels provided. A private bathroom is available at extra cost. Choose from full board, half board or breakfast only, and make use of the communal kitchen, living room and dining room.

Spain’s cosmopolitan capital offers an abundance of opportunities, whatever your tastes. Legendary museums including the Reina Sofia, Thyssen and Prado are full to bursting with masterpieces, reflecting the longstanding association between Madrid and fine art. After class, you could also take a relaxing stroll through the lush Retiro Park or the Winter Gardens of the Royal Palace. Madrid’s shops are second to none and the local nightlife is legendary, whether you want to enjoy a rooftop bar in the warm evening air, tapas of all varieties or nightclubs that start late and end much, much later.
