Located in Chestnut Hill, the school offers modern, bright classrooms with interactive whiteboards, a computer learning centre and free Wi-Fi throughout. The stylish student zone is a great place for students to relax in and features a flat-screen TV, comfortable furniture and drink machines. The language school is set on the grounds of Pine Manor College. Facilities on this stunning 60-acre green campus include a cafeteria serving an excellent variety of hot and cold dishes, a college library, fitness room, sports hall (basketball, volleyball, tennis, badminton, football), outdoor football and softball fields, outdoor tennis courts, lovely woodland walks and a running track. It's a 10-minute walk to the closest subway station, 20 minutes from the city centre, and a regular free shuttle service runs between the campus and the subway station while Pine Manor classes are in session.

Kings, Boston
Duration: 9 weeks

"Kings Colleges was for me an experience. I had the opportunity to live trough two different periods at this school. In fact, I arrived during the summer, the campus was like a holiday camp. The place was very nice for teens wanting mostly fun. After that, when the summer was over, the American college began taking courses, giving way to a more studious and more mature atmosphere. Moments of sharing are now more interesting and more intercultural and the possibilité of living a student life in the U.S. contributes so much.".

Kings, Boston
Duration: 10 weeks

I decided to take a language course at Kings Boston because the school is located on an American campus and also because Boston is a famous university town with lots of students. The staff and teachers were amazing. I like all the people I met there. Thanks for giving me the opportunity to meet such fantastic people. The activities were great too and included NBA games, NHL games, museum visits, etc. I really love the English language and the USA, which is why I have decided to move to LA. My experience in Boston was simply amazing !

Kings, Boston
Duration: 12 weeks

During my stay in Boston, I dived into the American life. Boston is a very pleasant city, with an important and interesting historical past. Its architecture successfully combines English (Newbury St) and American charm. People are very caring and warm.

Kings College’s teachers are very motivated and this is why all the courses are interesting.

It was an amazing experience that, apart from learning a language, allowed me to meet lots of people from different backgrounds.

Host family
Staying with a host family in a safe residential Boston neighbourhood can be beneficial on several levels. It's easier to learn the language in full immersion, and you can have interesting conversations with your hosts while learning more about Boston and the daily lives of American families! You'll stay in a single bedroom and share the other rooms with your hosts. You'll have half-board, and free Wi-Fi is guaranteed outside high season. You can do laundry once a week, and please note that you need to bring your own bath towels. The host families live about 45-60 minutes from the school by bus.

Pine Manor residence (from 16 years)
Located on the same peaceful green campus as the school, this convenient student residence offers twin and single rooms. Six students share one bathroom, including a shower and two sinks. Every accommodation block has a student TV lounge with indoor games and free Wi-Fi. Students are provided with full board (19 meals per week, served in the cafeteria of the campus, except during the Christmas holidays) and may use the onsite coin-operated laundry facilities. Bed linen and bath towels are supplied and changed every week. Weekly housekeeping is done in common areas, and there is 24-hour onsite security. This is a great option to experience American college life!

World-renowned as one of the great capitals of learning, Boston is home to over 50 universities and colleges. It’s a city with a rich history but also a modern, dynamic centre of entertainment, sports and fun. Among Boston‘s numerous attractions, you might want to visit Quincy Market and marvel at its 150 or so restaurants, boutiques and entertainment options. Or walk along the famous Freedom Trail, which explores the history of Boston through a 4-kilometre-long path. If you choose to visit the Museum of Fine Arts, you will get a great insight into Boston’s cultural influence. Take a boat trip on one of the famous Ducks and get a great view of Boston from the River Charles. Sports fans will also visit the Fenway Park Stadium and attend a Boston Celtics or Boston Red Socks match. But there is nothing like practising sport actively, and in that respect, the campus of our partner school offers a wide range of options: football, tennis, running, basketball, volleyball, badminton to name a few -join a team and go for it! And if you’re not into sport, join in with other activities on campus such as drama workshops, dance, debates, lectures, music, concerts, movies or plays…
