Front-End or Full Stack Web Developer

We are currently looking for a Front-End or Full Stack Web Developer for our Shared Service Center in Barcelona. 

Job overview

Working within a small team, you will participate in the technical development of different websites and applications for the company.
 
Main tasks:
 
  • Develop and maintain company’s websites in an optimised way following the latest web standards
  • Develop and maintain complex web applications and APIs
  • Create and develop technical documentation for the Web department and adapted to the users’ knowledge
  • Support application/website users 
Your professional skills:
 
  • 4-5 years’ minimum experience in web development
  • Excellent front-end development knowledge (CSS3 / HTML5 / Javascript (ES6) / CSS pre-processor / Responsive design)
  • Good command of at least one Javascript framework/library (e.g. React, AngularJS, …)
  • Command of task-running tools (Grunt / Gulp)
  • Command of versioning tools (git)
  • Command of testing tools (e.g. Jasmine, Karma, …)
  • Other skills:
    • Good back-end development knowledge (PHP / MySQL / MVC frameworks)
    • Good Linux/Unix knowledge (Ubuntu)
    • Experience and skills in Ux/UI and web design
    • Use of common graphics tools (Adobe Suite)
    • Command of Wordpress CMS
    • Command of Agile (Scrum) development method 
Your personal skills:
 
  • Fluency in English. French or other European languages is considered a strong advantage
  • Ability to listen and to quickly understand the job requested

Partnerships Manager

Job overview
 
We are currently looking for a dynamic and experienced Partnerships Manager, to take over tasks related to b2b relations, financial and operational agreements as well as product developments and promotional activities.
 
Main tasks:

Partnerships
  • Negotiate and formalise contractual relations with a selected set of partner schools on an annual basis.
  • Monitor partner schools, forecasting and analysing objectives and performances.
  • Support the Head of Partnership and Products in the development of products and partners strategy.
  • Search for new products and partnerships to expand ESL’s portfolio according to strategy.
  • Know the market through schools and agencies market research and competitive intelligence.
  • Monitor products quality vs clients’ reviews.
  • Monitor compliance of contractual conditions.
  • Representation of ESL by participating to industry workshops and events. 

Internal coordination and training 
  • Take part to company’s strategic and cross-departmental projects.
  • Support Products department in launching and formatting products through different channels and platforms.
  • Collect feedback from Sales teams, IAC (International Admission Center), Finance and Products.
  • Support product training of Sales teams / IAC / Marketing.
  • Support operational departments (Sales/IAC) in case of problems and crises.
  • Organise training sessions through different channels. 

Events management
  • Assist Head of Partnerships to define the global concept and budget for the important events.
  • Be an active member for the organization of the events: Identify opportunities, research and negotiation of conditions for hotel, catering, conference room and social events venues.
  • Take the operational lead in preparing and executing the set up of the annual company partnership event in coordination with other departments (marketing, sales, IAC).
  • Provide feedback and periodic reports to Head of Products & Partnerships
  • Conduct post – event surveys and report on outcomes. 
 
Your profile:
Your professional skills
  • Strongly experienced in negotiation and business relations development, 3 years minimum.
  • Accomplished range of skills from creativity to detailed operational execution.
  • Previously worked in an autonomous and organized manner, with a high sense of responsibility.
  • Experience in the services industry with high quality customer satisfaction standards.
  • Strong skills in MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint in particular).
  • Proven analytical skills with a commercial acumen.
  • English language proficiency, Spanish and French are key assets.

Senior Accountant

Job overview
To complete the Accounting department based in our Montreux office, we are looking for a Senior Accountant. You will ensure the integrity of accounting information for all markets under supervision, perform adequate controls and recommend improvement in accounting processes.
 
Main tasks:
 
  • Maintain general ledger and prepare month-end close of ESL’s markets
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes for all markets
  • Liaise with manager to improve accounting and financial procedures
  • Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
  • Supervise accountants and apprentice
  • Plan, assign and review team tasks 
Your profile
Your experience

 
  • You possess accounting training and 5 years of experience in European accounting
  • You have good knowledge of Microsoft Office software and Mac OS environment
  • French is your native language, you are fluent in English (B2 / C1) and ideally also in German. Any other language is a plus.

  • You have great organisational skills, including the ability to deliver high quality results under time constraints
  • You are a good communicator with a problem solving mindset
