Founded in 1976, our partner school near the centre of Chester includes 2 course centres. The first one, spread over 3 buildings, offers 20 bright classrooms, a resource centre and a modern language lab with computers. Make the most of the coffee area with vending machines for snacks and drinks, the large lounge with a TV and the sunny patio to relax with your friends after classes. The second more modern course centre has been specifically designed for students over 25. It features 6 comfortable classrooms, a computer/language lab and a spacious lounge where complimentary tea and coffee are served throughout the day. Stay connected thanks to the free Wi-Fi available throughout both buildings.

English in Chester, Chester
Duration: 12 weeks

The people in Chester are really kind and friendly. I like the way they teach English and the different activities they organise. It's interesting because when I came here I didn't speak English well but step-by-step I started to become confident and spoke with everybody and now my English is better. I have also made some friends and I'm still in touch with them. I think English in Chester is a good school with great teachers!

Chester is a beautiful town with lots of things to do and, at weekends, many excursions (I recommend the Lake District) to do during the day and many pubs to go out in the evening.
It was not easy at first; I felt homesick but the school and the host family helped me a lot to feel better! For instance, my host family showed me areas where I could take walks.
Chester must-dos: tour of the city walls and SHOPPING!

The teaching methods and the organisation of the school in general are really good. The employees are always willing to help. It’s also interesting to get to know students from different cultures.

Staying with a host family will allow you to discover English culture from the inside and to practise the language in a friendly environment!
