ELC Chester (English Language Center)

This is the ideal accommodation option for total language immersion. The families, which are carefully selected by our school, generally live around 40 minutes on foot or by bus from the school. Students stay in single rooms with half-board. If you're travelling with another student, you can request a double room. Staying with a host family will allow you to discover English culture from the inside and to practise the language in a friendly environment!

Chester is a charming historic city with endless opportunities to explore alongside your new friends, and this canal-side residence is perfectly positioned just a 5-minute walk from your school and the city centre. Each room features a desk, wardrobe, and an en-suite bathroom—you'll be responsible for keeping your own space clean and preparing your own meals—kitchens in the shared flats are cleaned on Saturdays. The residence offers excellent shared facilities, including a common area, a games room, and a free on-site gym for staying active. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the residence, linen and towels are included, and laundry facilities are available at an extra cost. Located right on the canal near a popular pub, you're perfectly placed to enjoy Chester's vibrant atmosphere with supermarkets and city centre attractions all within a 5-minute walk.

This residence offers both privacy and luxury, with views of the nearby racecourse and historic Chester skyline — all just a two-minute walk from the school. Students will be placed in a single studio room (couples may also take advantage of this) with WIFI, a double bed, an HD TV, a desk, a wardrobe, an ensuite bathroom, and a fully equipped kitchenette. The residence will provide linen and towels, both of which can be cleaned for free using the onsite facilities. There is a weekly cleaning service, and students will have access to a “grab n’ go” breakfast every day.
