As accommodation is part of your learning experience, the school carefully selects the native English-speaking host families. Whenever possible, two students of the same native language will not be placed with the same family. Half-board accommodation is provided, with breakfast and the evening meal included. Many lifelong friendships are made through the unique experience of living so authentically in local culture. Single rooms are not available during high season. Students under 18 will therefore share a twin room with another student their same age and of a different mother tongue.
The school’s rich and varied leisure programme allows students to participate in three social activities per week: salsa lessons, cinema evenings, theatre, karaoke and parties are on the agenda. During your free time, you will be able to go up against your friends in karting, a laser game or bowling. If you prefer outdoor activities, cycling and horse riding are available, or quite simply take a walk on the beach. A coastal town, Eastbourne offers all imaginable water sports. Excursions to London, Cambridge and Dublin are organised by the staff of the college, while a visit to the majestic chalk cliffs of Beachy Head is particularly popular.
