Experience daily life with an Italian family. This is an excellent opportunity to immerse yourself in the culture of Bologna and put your language skills into practice in a warm, friendly atmosphere. Living around 20 minutes from the school, you will have your own bedroom and will be able to freely use the kitchen in your home away from home.
If you’re interested in living with locals or with other international students, the school offers a shared apartment. Students have their own bedrooms and share the common rooms and facilities (kitchen, bathroom). This is a sociable way to enjoy your stay in Italy and meet people from all over the world.
The school organises a daily programme of cultural and social activities in Bologna including tours of the city, its monuments, artwork and history. Dive into Italian culture, practise the language in an authentic context and really get to know your classmates. From the Carracci heritage to the contemporary art galleries, you can appreciate the city's ancient engineering alongside the latest designs from Ducati, Ferrari, Lamborghini and Maserati. This is a superb Italian city, which is much less touristic than other similar Italian destinations. With 35 kilometres of shopping arcades including plenty of chic boutiques, shopaholics are especially well catered for. You will be spoilt for choice in the evenings, choosing from the many cinemas, bars and nightclubs of this festive university city with a student population of more than 60,000. And you will soon find out why this is Italy’s food capital!
