Our partner school takes great care in selecting families for its students from all over the world. You will stay in a twin room, shared with a participant of the same sex, and have breakfast or half board provided. On request, some families may offer single rooms and/or half board. The school is well served by public transport, which means students can use the bus or the metro to go to class in the morning. The journey will take you around 30 minutes on average.
Student apartment (from 20 years)
BWS also offers accommodation in a shared apartment, with 3, 4 or 5 international students. You will stay in a double room and will share the kitchen, the living room, the bathroom, the washing machine and the dishwasher with the other residents. All apartmens have free high-speed Internet access.
Private studio (from 18 years)
After class, find some peace in one of the studios that our partner school offers just a few minutes away from its premises. You will enjoy a private bathroom and a kitchen space, as well as free Wi-Fi access. Bed linen is provided, but you will have to bring your own towels.
The school opens onto one of the most popular areas of Cologne, where leisure options are plentiful. International students will soon find places to have fun and socialise with the locals of this welcoming city. They will also discover the 2000-year history of Cologne. A city visit, organised by the school, will highlight the major local attractions: Roman towers, gothic churches, art galleries, the Chocolate Museum and, above all, the cathedral, symbol of the city, famous around the world and listed as a UNESCO heritage site. Treat yourself to a boat trip on the Rhine to get another perspective on this beautiful city. The lucky ones who are visiting Cologne during Carnival will experience the craziest days of the year – something like nowhere else!
