The school was VERY centrally situated which was great. The teacher, Carole, was superb - I was very lucky to have been allocated to her class; my flat had “good news”/“bad news” - it was centrally situated, 1 minute from the school, but was VERY noisy from the restaurants below, and the flat itself could have done with improvement eg with the microwave, a door handle on the door inside and outside (as you had to open and shut it with the key), the saucepan handles were falling off, but it was fun living right in the centre thanks. Very welcoming staff and very friendly too. The trips were good too. My teacher, Carole, was superb! Good and varied trips with knowledgeable guides. Many thanks for arranging a great course for me.

City was a little run down and not much to do See teaching According to the certificate I recieved at the end of 10 weeks, I am now an A2 level speaker. This is despite the fact I was in b1/b1+ classes and can my french is better than A2. They did not let us know our progressuon throughout the weeks and the standard of teaching varied hugely from teacher to teacher. First accomodation was pretty but way to far to travel. My second accommodation was in a much better location but we didnt have hot water for over two weeks and the wifi was unreliable. Also with the second accommodation I had practically no contact with the landlord. Eugénie, who delt with me, was great in getting me new accomodation so thank you!

MONTPELLIER! What can I say about my stay in this big town? I have only good memories of it. The day I arrived and met my host family, who welcomed me like a member of family. The people from throughout the world that I met during the course, and all of the beautiful friendships that grew in such a short time. The classes in the mornings, which were never boring, and the brilliant teachers. The lunches with friends and the busy afternoons: sightseeing in Montpelier, beach, shopping, cinema, exploring the surrounding villages... and spending the evenings with friends, enjoying the nice city atmosphere with people from all over the world! Every Friday in summer, the city fills with people, who drink local wine and eat local specialties. It was an amazing experience which I hope to repeat. Awesome memories and friendships. A wonderful French-learning summer!

My name is Fabián and I came to Montpellier to learn French. I am very happy with the school (IEF): I am learning the language pretty fast and teachers are very professional. I met many people from all over the world; there is a good nationality mix! The school is in the heart of Montpellier: public transports are very convenient and the surroundings are full of bars and restaurants where I can have lunch. Montpellier offers many hotspots, such as the Arc de Triomphe, Place de l’Europe, the Botanical Gardens, Place de la Comédie, the historical centre and the mountain of Saint-Loup. I highly recommend visiting all these places! The city is full of tourists and young people – it’s been an unforgettable experience so far!
