Most of the families recruited by the school have been welcoming students for years and are aware of their needs. They generally live around 20-40 minutes’ walk from the school and offer single rooms with breakfast or half-board. During the high season, students under 18 years will be placed in a twin room with another student of a different native language but of the same age. For students travelling together, there is also the possibility of staying in a double room, for an attractive price. Contact us for further information.
Thompson Homes residence (available in July and August)
Located a minute’s walk from the school, this high-quality residence features stylish single bedrooms with private bathrooms. You’ll share the living room and fully equipped kitchen with the other students, and will receive a “welcome pack”, which includes tea, coffee and other breakfast items. Wi-Fi is free, bed linen and towels are provided, and you’ll find a free washing machine in the kitchen. A cleaning service is available at an extra cost. The city centre is very close by and awaits you with its bars, restaurants and shops!
For more independence, these two possibilities are available depending on your budget. Additional information and prices on request.
The school organises trips to London to attend the famous musicals such as Phantom of the Opera and The Lion King. Or perhaps you would prefer to spend the weekend in Oxford, Cambridge or Brighton with your new friends? Or to go away camping? Enjoy a round of golf? Whatever your desires, Eastbourne and its surrounds will certainly not leave you bored! Although if you want a change of scenery, Brighton is only 30-40 minutes away by train, making it easy to go to for the day or for a night out.
