Nothing beats staying with a host family for a truly authentic British experience. You’ll live in a single room and enjoy half board, which gives you the opportunity to practise your English with the host family during meal times, picking up the accent and local expressions! Most families live in residential neighbourhoods within 40 minutes by public transport from the school.
Student house (from 18 years)
If you’re looking to live with other international students, you can opt for a student house where you’ll have a single bedroom and a shared kitchen (no meals included), living room and bathroom. Student houses are located just 10-20 minutes on foot from school. This is a great choice if you’re looking for a social experience!
Phoenix Hall summer residence (from 18 years) (01.07-02.09.2018)
Stay in this residence during Brighton’s lively summers right near beautiful Brighton Pier. Just a 20-minute bus ride from the school, the residence is composed of apartments for up to 8 students. Each apartment contains en suite single rooms that come with desks, chairs and wardrobes. Enjoy the shared kitchen where you can prepare meals with your fellow students, plus a TV lounge, free Wi-Fi and laundry facilities.
Brighton is positively bursting with things to do and see for every taste. The sporty set can try watersports in the summer or roller blade, bike or jog along the promenade. Shopaholics will love The Lanes, a quaint area in central Brighton full of boutiques, coffee shops and pubs. What’s more, the school organises events during the week and weekend excursions so you can socialise while practising your English – what could be better?
