Shopaholics will have to restrain themselves here! The beautiful Rue Saint-Catherine in downtown Montreal is where you’ll find the city’s Apple Store plus all the typical high-street shops. (P.S. Did you know that brands like Herschel Supply Co. and yoga mega-star Lululemon are Canadian brands?)
On a rainy day, head underground… to the underground city to be precise! A curious conglomeration of interconnected shopping centres, there are more than 33 kilometres of tunnels full of shops galore to delight any avid shopper. Try starting at Le Centre Commercial Eaton de Montréal off of the Rue Saint-Catherine right in the city centre.
Vintage lovers can head to the boho-chic Mile End neighbourhood where second-hand boutiques abound. Try Empire Exchange, Annex Vintage, Citizen Vintage, Local 23 and Bohême Friperie just to name a few. And don’t forget to stop for a cup of Italian coffee at Café Olimpico to refuel!
