5th May 2019: Cinco de Mayo
Cinco de Mayo is a celebration of all things Mexican, on the date that Mexico defeated France in the Battle of Puebla. The largest Cinco de Mayo celebration in the world is Fiesta Broadway in Los Angeles.
27th July – 4th August 2019: US Open of Surfing
A week-long event that includes surfing, skateboarding, BMX and live music, the US Open of Surfing is one of the major events in the extreme sports calendar.

Little Tokyo’s annual celebration of all things Japanese and Japanese-American. The event culminates with a grand parade.

The largest annual celebration of Korean culture in the United States consists of hundreds of booths, food, entertainment and music in Koreatown.
28th November – 29th November 2019: Black Friday
The day after Thanksgiving almost all the stores offer big sales. In recent years, Black Friday begins Thursday afternoon and goes on throughout the night.
