St Giles Brighton is located in the heart of the city, directly opposite the iconic Royal Pavilion and just a five minute walk from the beach. The trendy North Laine area is nearby and is famous for excellent independent boutiques, great bars and a huge variety of restaurants and cafes.

The school is spread across three large Victorian buildings with comfortable, modern classrooms, free Wi-Fi access, an independent study centre with a library and laptop PCs, and a digital language centre. As one of the most respected international groups of language schools, St Giles has an excellent reputation for teacher training dating back to 1955.

Host family
The school personally takes care of selecting the most suitable host families for its students. If you choose a “standard” host family you’ll stay in a twin or single room with half board and shared bathroom. “Superior” families offer private bathrooms. While “standard” families live around 15-45 minutes away from the school by bus, the “suburban” ones live 45-60 minutes away. If you want to get a real feel for British culture, there’s no better way than staying with a host family!

George Street Residence
This residence will make your study time in Brighton even more enjoyable. Just a 4 minute walk from the school building, it is ideally located in a quiet street, close to the city centre and its numerous cafés, restaurants, bars and shops, which are all within walking distance. The 30 single rooms with private shower/WC are spread over 3 floors and some of them have a small balcony. The guests from all over the world can prepare their meals in 3 fully equipped kitchens. Facilities include two student lounges with TV, free Wi-Fi internet access and bedlinen (please bring your own towels). Weekly housekeeping is provided. There is no laundry room in the residence but there is a launderette right next to it, in the same street.
