Leisure activities
Long term language courses in total immersion: Leisure activities
One of the interests of learning a language abroad resides in the immediate practice of the studied subject. The extra-curricular activities proposed by the schools offer a relaxed and motivating climate which favours exchanges and contacts. For this reason, the schools propose to you, beside quality courses which have made their reputation, attractive cultural and sports activities. According to the destination, in this way, you will be able to discover diving in Australia, tear down the slopes in Canada, strut about Berlin, visit the Alhambra in Granada, go shopping in Milan or go out with friends to a London pub. The various activities are partially included in the price of the courses. The excursions are at an extra charge when they involve a journey (train, bus) or entrance fees (shows, theatre, etc.).
You can take it easy with a strong coffee at a Viennese cafe or explore the slopes where the coffee beans grow in Costa Rica. Gawp at the pearls in the Antwerp jewellers’ windows or try and find your own in the depths of the Indian Ocean. One thing is for sure: these experiences will help you understand other essential dimensions of the language you're learning.
Learning a language in immersion brings with it unforgettable experiences. Over time, you'll improve your language skills with the locals in exciting countries or with the help of international students in an up-tempo city. When you study in Lyon, Barcelona or Rome and make friends from Sweden, Russia or Brazil, your friend group is guaranteed to become more international.
