Online tests
Test your language level
Thanks to our online tests, you can assess your level of English, German, Italian, Spanish, French, Chinese (Mandarin), Arabic and Russian.
These test are free and anonymous, which means you are not required to provide your personal details before taking the test.
Presented in the form of multiple-choice questionnaires, the tests include 30 to 50 questions, with only one correct answer per question. Allow about 20 minutes for the whole test and make sure you have enough time ahead of you before starting.
After completing the test, your result appears immediately on the screen, displaying your score as well as your level on the European Framework for Languages. Although this result is a rough estimation, it will give you an idea of your current level.
For some programmes, particularly for Cambridge preparation courses, you might have to take a pre-entry test so we can assess your language skills in a more precise manner.
In all cases, the schools will ask you to take a comprehensive language test on the first day of classes in order to place you in a group matching your level of ability.
